
Utah Business magazine is pleased to announce the third annual Fittest Execs awards program, where the state's most efficient and effective business executives will go head to head in a health and wellness competition.
With health care costs rising across the board, promoting healthy lifestyles among corporations have become ever more essential. Truthfully, fitness and healthy living affect both your bottom and your company's bottom line.
The Fittest Execs program will highlight those business leaders who are truly setting an example for those around them while focusing some well-deserved attention on those that take fitness to the highest level - the veritable Atlas' of the business world.
Experts at the Health and Fitness Institute at LDS hospital will be offering a complimentary Health & Fitness Appraisals to the first 100 executives to sign up. The process will measure body fat, flexibility, strength and other physical fitness standards in order to determine Utah's Fittest Execs.
The Fittest Execs, two men and two women (one over 50 and one under 50 in each category), will be featured in the July 2010 issue of Utah Business magazine. New for this year will be special recognition of the most improved over last year's results.

Fitness appraisals begin February 22 and applicants must be registered by March 30, 2010. Register early; there is only room for 100 participants.
* The competition is limited to executives in the following positions: C-level, President, owner, partner, executive director, mayor/city manager/city council, retired executives or vice president level and above.
